Wilec’s Industrial division imports, manufactures, converts and distributes a wide range of products for and to various market segments nationally. The product range is divided into three groups: Adhesive Tapes, Extension Reels and Signage & Graphics Materials. The Avast™ brand is Wilec’s promise of quality and our team of technical specialists ensures that fit for purpose products are sourced from reliable specialist manufacturers globally and supported locally through our national branch network.
Wilec has embarked on an intensive modernisation and recapitalisation program. The program has been rolled out in both the Olifantsfontein and City Deep manufacturing facilities. The state of the art machines that have been installed have already produced improved quality, control and efficiencies.
In addition to this, product diversification and market substitution have also been factored into the procurement and planning of the equipment purchased.
Extensive training has been rolled out to our manufacturing teams such that both man and machine are equipped to deliver products that exceed specification and customer demands.
